Reprieve, this year.

The Fifteenth of April By Franklin Price 4/16/2016 The fifteenth of April Has been here come and gone Every year at this time I feel much as a pawn Yesterday the game was over Moved too slowly to the ax For it was the last day That I could file my tax Hold on just a moment! What's that now I hear? They've extended until Monday Must be Christmas time this year So now I have the week-end To fill out all those forms I'll just sharpen up the pencil And see how it performs I'll take a little here and there Deduct all that I can Hopefully not have to pay Not give my money to the man At least I've got a second chance To avoid a penalty And to prove that death and taxes Are always there and true for me
