The ferris wheel holds a fascination for me I cannot explain, It produces a profound excitement I find hard to contain. It goes round and round with the wind in my face, And I look down from above in my happy place. From on top you can see a city bathed in lights, It is alive, sparkling, with a view to excite. Your troubles disappear when you are on the ferris wheel, It produces instant gratification, and a joy you can’t conceal. I’d like to bottle that feeling you get from the fair, It’s an exhilaration you can’t get just anywhere. Having a hot dog and cotton candy is part of the fun, But the thrill of the ferris wheel can’t be outdone.
