The Fairies Wait
The Fairies wait
for warmer weather,
they want to go outside
and play together.
It's been too chilly
to go outside to play,
they have seeds to plant too
they're waiting for a warm day.
They watch me from their window
as I roam around the yard,
looking for things to do
weather deals me different cards.
The Fairies greet me with a smile
I feel their warm embrace,
I can't help, but to feel happy
and hold a smile upon my face.
As the Fairies wait
for the weather to clear,
I warn them of the weather to come
and hold them very dear.
