The Face of the Moon

The moon's face is veiled hiding her radiant beauty in the evening sky On land and on sea shadows can be seen moving under her dim light Cautious and careful each move with a measured step precisely taken Night becomes shelter for stalkers and criminals when moon hides her face Darkness is embrace by wanton thieves and robbers on a moonless night When moon shows her face earth becomes a lovers' lane for the poets' hearts
