~~The Eyes of My Savior~~ The eyes of my Savior are aqua blue When you gaze upon them it matches a noon day sky The eyes of my Savior are thoughtful Always thinking of others above himself He has warm thoughts of compassion that can be read like a weather vane in his eyes If he is melancholy you will know… If he is happy they will sparkle… If he is flabbergasted he looks acutely upwards… And if he is angry they become as hot coals… The eyes of my Savior are soft and sweet like a warm sunset If you gaze upon them for too long you would be lulled to sleep His stare is certainly relaxing The eyes of my Savior are a sure thing They are constantly searching from east to west They are scanning the hearts of mankind What will he find within your heart? Will he find love or disappointment? Just gaze within his eyes and you too will see That his eyes are as deep as eternity Soft butter lashes Eyebrows as brown as a bear When he bats his brown eye lashes you will see his meekness A pathway to his heart The eyes of my Savior Gwendolen Rix 8-7-14
