The Essence of Joy

Joy was the music within my heart, That once was there and now depart. Blowing a prayer into the wind, To bring it back somewhere within. And then I'll pray for it to stay, So Lord show me thy way. Just like the sun reflects off the waters of the Nile. Oh Father, only you could make me smile. Light as a feather is the yoke on my shoulders. As I seek the Lord's trust to remove all my boulders. I raise my face toward the sunshine. I pray to my Lord to taste his new wine. Holy spirit as Iseek your fine essence, Infuse my heart with your wonderful presence!
