The Dream

I write to tell the world I'll be alright, For I'm stuck in this box I'm in, Daze for days when amaze when I pour out my heart for a crave, Night I numb the real pain I hide from reality I'm in, Dreaming with my eyes they tell me for it make-believe, This dream won't be real yet how can you tell me when you never chase yours, I put my heart on my sleeve and learn what was love, Would I be the same without the talent I hold? I have hope yet that's not enough for being broke is no joke, When we became slaves to society for thinking out the box is strange, Today the tranquility Flame woken, Today the peace within save me today, I been from a broken family since I was kid, I told you the truth I speak will be ugly you see, I have a voice for this heart has been in the most dangerous situations I was ever in, I don't speak from my mind for words are align, From what the heart has to say, Work, work, no play for bills running thin that bread you make, I just wanted to speak for myself now I'm abandon, Lost in the world I walk for one day you'll see, What this vision I see for today I'll tell you is not make-believe, I'm just not changing right, I got a talent just afraid to put food on the plate, For I fear everyone will laugh at me, Been coping with music after I lost my father eight years ago, Telling me my ego is too big when my pride destory the bridges I cross for I was seeking, What I lost within; Everyone telling I can't do it for it's not for me, Yet you don't know me that you can tell to see the pain I pour out in ink, I been waiting now I'm racing my time so I can't waste it away, When you told me I was a joke for you think I wouldn't forget, Just wanted to share my dream for my team when I saw it behind the scenes, Just thirteen in between where life veer and my real self that disappear, And if you want to change you have to be the change, For nothing will change if you don't take that first step.
