The Dragon
why let the dragon loose
memories of pain
in his reign
my life chocking
on this bread of life
he was better off slain
abuse on the son
the daughters
they will let anyone
be fathers
open it’s cage
cuts through the heart in rage
i never know if it is real
or just a real bad dream
my joyful memories never
to be seen
a vow against his wrath
prayed I would never
follow in his path
why set the dragon free
no harm would come
yea only to me
stuffed in a cell , blind cannot see
can’t be alive while it’s in me
the chain must be stopped
no more stories I’d rather forget
reborn a new me
always free
no more dreams of
setting the dragon free
