The Dot - . The dot “.” Cousin to the comma , With no others Almost nothing Being on the line To stop things To stop everything From escaping or getting lost to the void Friend to sentences Placed in existence by a pen or pencil point They are a point They are the point Essence turned to form So pure and unique Black dot against white paper Going by the name of “period” Almost out of sight Something very small and tiny That fits right here “.”
