The Divine Light

St. Andrew was closer to Jesus more than the others, and he followed Him everywhere the Teacher went; as a fisherman of brave men, he reveled in his intent to reveal the divine light that illuminated spoken words. And like Christ he was crucified and suffered; his blood dripped from broken hands and feet, but he praised death as a seed falling to the ground to regrow in a field nourished by rain and heat. A similar message the Master spoke on His long travels: the divine light was His gift to the Earth fallen to darkness. Written on 1/13/2017
