Your love has died and what am I to do
but shroud my heart with mournful requiem
how can I live without the joy I knew
this death my heart to hell will now condemn
The subtle signs of sickness plain to see
your kiss perfunctory, as your embrace
no longer did you breathe and live for me
the trace of passion did not grace your face
I chanted mantra of your love divine
as searing hands of want engulfed my frame
but making love no longer feels sublime
in throes of pain not pleasure bursts your name
Your love has died and I have died to love
My only source of solace lies above
