The Day Snow Falls
Gone! It wasn't meant to be as it was.
I dare to wait another spring
Posing on my fence, gazing at the sunset
In a hope of salvation de love.
'Twas not another dusk,
A day when clouds casted silvery snowflakes
I stood under that Oak tree,
Yes, my face beaten by merciless winter chill
Yet My heart burns with desire.
Oh, where have you been my love? I seek for thee,
I ask passersby if they might notice the lady in blue coat!
No answer!
I waded across the biting stream, over the vales and meadows
Shouting your name, only my echo answers.
I waited for another storm, praying for eternal bliss.
I give up though my love waits for another daffodils' bloom.
Let me be in peace, I forgive you.
I hear the cuckoo's welcome note.
Ah, spring at last. Dusk turn to dark,
Breeze flutter the branches, the last snow falls.
