The Day Jesus Came
The Day Jesus Came!
Jesus, you came and brightened my day!
Your love has taken the dark clouds away!
You came that I may have joy within.
And know what it means to be born again!
You came to give life ever so abundantly!
And have blessed me! So unexpectedly!
You came so that my sins can be forgiven!
Your love has changed the way I’m livin’!
You came so that I’ll surely know.
Only your presence can make me whole!
You came that I may really know you!
May I have the faith to daily trust you!
You came to help me to daily overcome.
Through you, life’s battle’s have been won!
I come to you to repent and confess.
Please take my life and take care of the rest!
I come to you and kneel before you!
All of my problems and failures, I give you!
I come to you my Lord, my savior and friend.
And thank you for helping me! Once again!
You’ve given to me a Lord to believe in!
I’m thankful for the opportunity to receive him!
I love you my Lord! And will never forget you!
The day you came, is a treasure I’ll hold on to!
