The dawn when breaks

Somnolent truth waking with life, Lo, dawn breaks into light from dark, Birds welcome it from nearby park, The greyish sky gets red-blue rife, And when a tender green leaf sprouts, Which, I hope to harvest as shoots, It helps me melt my night-long doubts That in my heart have taken roots. Yet, wonder it’d take deeper roots That, my dormant heart finds her voice, In touch with joys, my will’s lost choice, Or just forage for fallen fruits…. Dawn’s light has a spectrum of hues That wake my heart to heaven’s clues. __________________________________ Sonnet (musings) |18.02.2017| dawn
