The Dawn of You
Lest you forget,I'll take your hand and clasp it to my heart.
In the wake of ever after, you are my fresh start.
In dark of night you found me there and banished my decree.
I'd sworn myself to solitude, that way I could be free.
By sheer design life took a turn and pointed me to you.
Now every time I wake I smile, and life begins anew.
So take my heart to hold it near and we will travel on.
In light and glory you will bring me to a thankful dawn.
