The Dawn
Surprise lollipop
To a child’s day, splashing
A world of colour.
The flying saucer
With folded hands before its
Searing, final blaze.
The salubrious
Sedation one likes to sleep
Blissfully away.
A touch of class to
Any pedestrian stuff,
A book or a song.
