The Dark Unseen
She brushed away the fog of dreams, opened the world right at the seams. Stuck her soul into the messy goo, for what else was she to do?
Her heart caught fire in the heat, she feared her right on the marked seat. As she drew close, it burned too hot, for this is where the souls would rot.
Treading back into her own mind, she knew nothing of this kind. Buried her cries of terror and fear, and drew her good memories near.
Lost in despair she tried to hide, to keep what has been seen inside. Wrapped herself in shrouds of fake smile and pretend, for if she let go, it would mean the end.
The power, strength drawn from her core, left her body aching, her soul sore. No one else could ever dare to see, oh what horrors there would be.
