The Dark Corners of My Mind
In the dark corners of my mind I escape.
I have them take me away into a land
far away.
Here there are crushing white waterfalls,
deep blue waters
and rock pillars of jagged gray.
I don't hold on to or carry anything with me.
I am forever gone at this time in this day.
The sun is falling and the moon is calling.
It beckons me to stay.
It's lumious glow shines all about me.
I can feel it in the air.
I can see it's flow.
It's like a silver eupohric light,
bathing me in sight.
I stand without fear or torments.
I am engulfed into the perfect scene.
I can still see the grass's color
play along in the moonlight,
so green.
