The Damsel Without Her Locks

She did not like what she saw, A damsel without her locks. Her face looks forlorn, In mourning for her lost locks. She did not like what she saw, A scalp without her mane. But her resolve tell it all, She will just be sad in vain. She did not like what she saw, But wailing will give more pain. Her resolve in the long run, Is to see the loss as a gain.
