The Customers of Tomorrow
Wanting to make a better life
poverty and suffering
how many wars are created
by the abuse of the poor
Mary Burns
Showed Friedrich Engels
through the Cotton factories
of Manchester
Woman died by the age of twenty eight
breathing the cotton fibres of the factory
Friedrich Engels helped write
the communist manifesto
The hatred of the wealthy
came from the abuse of the poor
The Proletariat rose in response to abuse
the wealthy of Russia paid with their lives
Yet Starlin killed sixty million people
to keep people silent to stop the rising anger
thousands died from poverty and suffering
the farmers are workers as well
People died from starving
people died for hating the abuse
the wealthy where gone
but the Government became the Borghese
Look after your cents
and your dollars look after themselves
your people are your cents
help people to grow
and they become the wealthy
of the future
Wealthy people build the farms
to feed the people
Wealthy people pay wages
people with wages pay the tax
making your country healthy
Gavrilo Princip came from a life of poverty
The French revolution
People suffering from poverty
rose up against the Church, King and wealthy
standing up to fight for the rights of the poor
Karl Marx wrote the communist Manifesto
standing up against the abuse of the poor
the battle between rich and poor is fought
everyday in the arguments over wages
Year after year we replace workers with machines
yet to have a wealthy economy
people need wages to buy products
to balance their own budgets
people try to save buying cheap products
well others suffer in the sweetshops of third world countries
poverty continues and hatred grows
wars are a symptom of human failure
The Romans taught the world to build empires
yet to build empires takes away
the rights of other people
we need a world the respects each other rights
a world where we encourage our youth
to improve their education
where we encourage people to become investors
creating the jobs of tomorrow
Healthy third world countries
with jobs overcoming the limitations of poverty
can afford to buy the products of American
Russian and Chinese companies
World commerce improves when we help others
climb out of the gutter of poverty
putting money into the hands of people
builds the customers of tomorrow
