The Curse
I curse you, strange being in the dark
In error I curse you so!
Never can I understand you,
As my soul threatens to feel
That I must
That I should
I curse you,
As I would condemn my own mistakes,
With an instinctive sting to the mind,
Sending shutters in every valve of my heart
Pumping my own blood and sweat
Against your fight to destroy
Yes, I curse you,
As if, you powerful, horrible thing—
As if you were fragile just as I am
I curse you as if you feel the sting
As I do
As I am
