The Creed of Few Men

Amid fire, amid fear When hope has no grounds in circumstance I will stand. Amid silence, amid lies When all truth has become blurred I will speak, with the clarity of true principle. Amid cowardice and treachery When valor is a virtue long since buried I will fight. Amid tyranny and oppression When freedom has no bearing I will rise, a bulwark against the tide. Amid bloodshed and tears When agony has no ending I will defend.
