The Core

The Core Only time will tell, if one has married well. Only time will dent, the true intent of thoughts to circumvent, to muddle, rent or taint the core of the alabaster heart of him within the throes of wit and woe tossing heart, head and hand to and fro to go.... just go!! Yet, that magnet pulls, tugs and bends the pain around your heart and back again, to look the same but by no means is, for by far it has a different name. Four letters!! They wrap around one as a glove They wind and twist and curl until they show against the frame of time and space and back again. L-O-V-E !! a word from above. Charles G. Henderson Dec. 12, 2018

I don't know why our paths haven't crossed on Soup until I saw your blog. Good on you to free your muse and begin yet another season of yourself. I loved your wedding photo, time is so bittersweet, isn't it? Anyway, curiosity brought me here and I thoroughly enjoyed your poem, as well as relating to it! All the best and a pleasure to meet you ... CayCay

Thanks Mark, you give an old man the 'big head'. Just Kidding. Really there is no Hobby for me which surpasses poetry.
