The Common Place
I don't like being called a loner,
and being ridiculed later;
my withdrawl from life
has taught me the hardest lesson
of all times...one so unforgettable!
My strides were never recognized,
or much less ignored;
I mourned life instead of death,
as boring days brought in contention...
I was becoming very insensible!
I didn't have a chioce,
but to join the common place
to activate inside an incredible rage;
I refused to realize that working for a wage
had a purpose and esteem...
something that felt so genuine!
People from all walks of life
sometime have joined the common place,
having swayed from their path
to experience a horrible heart-break!
I have never found the way to riches,
to laud myself and impress others
with the sum of my fortunes
or the glitter of my jewels;
I remained in the common place
to retain my humble spirit and
take away my ironic smile:
to see the possibility of my potential!
