The Church and the Sycamore Tree

There all the Founding Fathers were in that church called Trinity On Washington they would concur and to God they would decree The court house was right next door and the town meeting hall too Two of the three are no more but that church on 911, how it drew Yes New York was the place and Ground Zero was the exact site The Church where they asked for Grace stood during that plight But the other two buildings were destroyed by a promise not kept And the more God became annoyed the better America had slept Sit where George sat that day and just think about this whole story This nation has forgotten to pray and doesn't give God His GLORY Those walls came crumbling down but not that 400 year old church You better watch to who you give your crown being in such a lurch I speak not to you as a fool but rather as to someone who is blind In taking God out of school then who you think you're going to find Know what God expects from you living here in the land of the free More prophecy' come true look it up and maybe you'll be able to see

Good write, Vincent, the idea of taking God from the school is wrong but there are so many that don't believe in God so they feel we are pushing it down on them. Blessings Eve

I know the quandary, but it wasn't always this way. Thus the warnings to turn back, but I only see them turning further. This newly secularized nation has gone against God. That is never a good thing.

I wrote a poem called Psalms 71:8 that might sum up my feelings about such. But Exodus 14:14 is a good verse to use as a reply, especially for those who may be seeking peace.
