The Child Is the Key

A soulful feeling, One gets from being in love. It is an emotion of bliss. From the good lord above. With both hearts a fire, Their bodies alive with sensual desire. They take the plunge of caring emotion. On an axis of love and deep devotion. With beauty abyss and feeling alike. And nine months later, The birth of a tyke. As Mom and Dad smile, Happy with glee. They know in their minds, The child is the key. With focus of steel, They decide to kneel. To pray. For a better day. God bless the child… James C Bryant Jr. June 20, 1995
