The Cell

I’m in a prison cell, writing my thoughts Before I go before the judge tomorrow What will I say, will I testify, do I testify Against the women that gave me life The woman that said she loved me The woman that betrayed me The woman that used me The woman that in her words Convinced me my father had to die To save her and my sister The woman that told me if I didn’t She would kill herself NO I can’t testify, YES you can You don’t deserve to be in here She deserves to be in here Todays the day, I can do this All Rise I approach the bench There she is crying again Like before, like that night Pleading with her eyes to me I cant do this YES YOU CAN!!! SO I DID
