The Castle

He glances around nervously feeling coldness comes over him As the thunder cracks And the candles grew dim Portraits lines the long corridor With layers of dust covers all Lights from the cracked window Casting shadows on the walls He feels like someone following As he walks the empty hallway The faces in the portraits staring at him Like if they have some thing to say He seen her thru the windows Then he believe the stories been told Of the princess in a dungeon Away from the outside world With a white dress and long hair She haunts the old castle She had fall in love with a servant And the king had him killed in battle She locks her self in the dungeon And refuses to come out again She died of a broken heart After months of mourning in pain He jumps as a door creaks He took a deep breathe and swallows As continues thru the dark castle Towards the big French windows He enters big dark room In the center of the corridor Then he sees her shadow As she goes thru a wooden door Behind the door was stairs That leads to the dungeon He holds the candle up But she was already gone He slowly reaches the bottom It was in immense darkness And as the candle lights the room In front of him stood the princess He opens his mouth to scream But there was no sound And his blood was cold as ice As his feet froze to the ground But when he catches his breathe He notice she was a real beauty And was shock when she said I know you will come back to me Then as she hold his hands Like magic the castle comes alive With servants preparing for a wedding Saying the future prince has arrive No one ever seen him again They find his jeep outside next day And in the castle many centuries ago He married the princess today
