The Carousel

What do you see, up in the sky? Metal chair swinging, just you and me Up among the clouds the world goes by. What do you see? We are confined yet I feel free. Gazing across the city I sigh, as you place your hand upon my knee. This must be how it feels to fly! I am so glad you are here with me. Take a moment look into my eyes. What do you see? First attempt at this form. By: Richard Lamoureux. For Nette's Carousel Roundel contest. Written August 12, 2013 I could not find the Form on Soup, what should I list it under?

the ending of this one is SO romantic and great use of the refrain line. gosh, you seem to be describing that older type carousel i read about when researching them. It was called flyers or something like that. Where the horses actually flew off from the platform. WEll done!
