The Breaking Point
Oh, the pain it causes
I try to last through the night,
but with you in my mind,
I can't bear to realize
that I need you...
bad.
I swore to never
let my emotions
get the best of me,
but today,
I shall stand,
boldly,
and break it.
I cry,
every night,
wishing you were here,
lying in the bed with me,
once again.
Your looving touch,
gentle smile,
makes life
worth while.
And when I look
into your eyes,
I see truth
staring back at me.
Old memories
flood my mind,
and even though I try to remain calm,
I break.
Tears flow,
emotions fly,
my world crashes,
when you're not around.
Leaving you,
is the hardest,
most difficult,
things
I've
ever
done.
My Breaking Point.
