The Brave Knight
The Brave Knight
Poignant agonies stabbing the heart of a young chap,
howling in despair, longing for the furlough,
Away from the intoxicating life of mishap,
Strung out to the white lies he was once told.
Good things come to those who wait, so they said .
Like a saint with so much patience he stayed.
But the reality struck him hard..
Hiding in the fortress won’t get you the buck,
Out on a stallion, fight like a brave knight – well, that might.
Before the plague begin.
Before the bridge get burn,
Before the cavalry is under siege and the gate is open.
All hail the brave knight.
