The Birth of You

THE BIRTH OF YOU Today I saw you all so fresh and new the butterfly about to take to wing, all tan and white and such a different you, preparing for what ever life might bring; and yes, I ate my heart out, as I should, there was; and right before my helpless eyes; what no one sees, not even if they could, the you in you no one can recognize. The lady pulled from adolescent years and filled with dreams someone was meant to share; the secrets of your heart, the hopes and fears, and born as spring, as I was watching there. You make me wonder why the world won't see the you that's all so plain and clear to me. © ron wilson aka vee bdosa the doylestown poet
