The Birds
They say that life is one big mile,
measured by the increments you choose.
If I ever met a cat who went by feet,
I'd like him to take a walk
in my doozin' shoes.
Cuz' the bird outside my window told me
life's too short to fret and give a damn;
told me it's all about the inches,
anything past is but a ripple in the sand.
There's something to be said about the birds, they fly
there's something to be said about the birds, they fly
The bird's fly high, and kiss the sky
there's something to be said about the birds, they fly.
They say that life is one big labyrinth,
it's all about the corridors you choose.
If I ever met a frog who found his pad,
I'd like to take a walk in his
oh so salient shoes.
Well, the bird outside my window told me
life's too short to fret and give a damn.
Told me to play my own music, all the bird's
know life's just one enormous jam.
There's something to be said about the birds, they fly
there's something to be said about the birds, they fly
The bird's fly high, and kiss the sky
there's something to be said about the birds, they fly.
