The Big Spill

The gulf oil spill hurts just as much as a bad tooth Was this truly an accident will we ever learn the truth As the oil in the gulf continue to spill With the economy still going downhill Our pockets will weep as gas prices shoot through the roof FOR GULF OIL SPILL CONTEST

Great limerick, Faleshia, and I wish you well in the contest. I do believe it was an accident, but the economy here on the Gulf Coast is causing a lot of worry. Nearly every business will be affected either directly or indirectly. But, surprisingly, our gas prices have actually come down a bit! I doubt most of us will live to see the day when our beaches are clean again. Love, Carolyn
