The Beyond Within
Within all of us
there is a fantastic dream world
It reveals itself
at night
As the mind works out its problems
through vivid imagery
The beyond within
has its own set of rules
Visions come to us
all under cover of darkness
People we have lost
come to us at night
In our dreams
we relive beautiful moments of childhood
Our pain is often reveled to us at night
For dreams are not all pretty
Yet even the unsettling ones
Lead us to new space, new freedom
