The Beggar

He has no food for his stomach to fill he has no qualifications or any skill, no place to call his own, roof or bedding how does he survive without daily begging? He's cold, hungry, He's dying, so i'll, how did he get to where he is now, destitute, he had nice things, cars, home, designer suit, loving wife, beautiful children, respectable well paid job, unskilled though acceptable, should have kept quiet, shouldn't dispute, should he have bowed, swallowed his pride? cower, left his future for them to decide, become another servant for them to ridicule bullied, undermined, treated like a village fool, still now no one cares if he lives, he cried, should this happen to a man of sixty one? to realise that all his world has gone, to live an existence without a secure future, suffering, dying of a disease that has no cure, Begging for death, begging is just wrong, he's cold, hungry, he's dying, so i'll, his trade now is begging his only skill, canal bridge his roof, cardboard for bedding, generosity, sympathy now He's begging, for some love, hope for his heart to fill.
