The Beauty Way
How many times have I held my breath, too many times to count.
So many times to listen to the silence within and without.
How many times has my shallow breath attempted to stop the spin;
Of atoms, raindrops or snowflakes The maple leaf’s flight in the wind.
How many times this fruitless task have I ventured unasked to refrain,
Seeking just to accept the rest, the beauty through the pane.
