The Beauty of the Mountains
the mountains from an open window
From my window, I see galore...
at the splendor of the enormous mountain of the Kanchendjunga
he seems to return me a welcoming glance,
which tells me of the wondrous beauty of the hidden world that he protects..
It tells me of the contact of mankind he evades,
and of the many a weary soul lost in his tread
and the cold disdain mountainous terrain over his head....
he chooses his solitude and his strength,
while leaving behind a lone cold fearsome shadow of dread........
He is the mountain of wondrous dread and a layer of snow over his head.....
