The Beautiful Weed
Nothing more than a simple weed
As far as the flowers go
A bashful beauty from a windblown seed
Who catches the early show
Its beauty shines before the sun comes up
Admired by the moon
It paints the earth with beautiful colors
But leaving way too soon
It lives its life while tethered together
Like a chaingang on a vine
But one by one it starts to bloom
Before the sun can shine
For a flower that's not a flower at all
But enchanting to me indeed
There's nothing like the morning glory
The world's most beautiful weed
