The Battle
The Battle
And so goes the battle.
Between evil and the good.
They step into the ring.
And take their corners like they should.
Warming up for the fight.
Their best is what they bring.
As they bop and weave.
Waiting for the bell to ring.
Suddenly the fight is on.
Between both right and wrong.
Everyone is watching
To see which one is strong.
Right takes a mighty blow
From the lies that it's been told.
Wrong moves in to make a move.
With an illegal hold.
Back into their corners.
Waiting for the second round.
Wrong plots another move.
To take right to the ground.
They come out just swinging.
Wrong takes an upper cut.
It looks like right will win.
You can feel it in your gut.
The crowd stands to their feet.
As wrong draws a little blood.
Right is tired of fighting.
Being drug right through the mud.
You can feel the fury.
As right lets it all go.
Defeating wrong in honor.
So all the world will know.
That when the battle rages.
And it's you that's in the fight.
No matter how you do it.
Two wrongs don't make a right.
