The Battle

You got lost in your head again, Now you're confused and mad again. You fell in a trap, trying to run from your past, Now you're back to being dead again. All that pain, hurt and needing to be hugged has caused you to sell yourself just to feel loved. You now do to yourself what has been done to you since birth you wonder why your heart breaks and you hurt. Cause all you wanted was love, so sick of being alone but you don't know how to reach out without selling your soul. You should just tell the world, you should release all those demons But I get that they've been your only friend since the day you started breathing So you stay stuck in this shell within Saying you wont break for them When the truth is, it's not them anymore You won't break your silence, it's only you in this war. That's why you're lost in your head again.
