The Bad Guy

I don't try to be a bad guy I just turned out that way I didn't mean to hurt You It just ended up that way Grew up like a normal kid Had the normal friends Did what normal kids did Got into the trends Hit the big school Did what the boys thought was cool Got lost in this haze Hope its just a phase Kicked to the curb She probably felt that way How'd I have the nerve I should've just stayed I don't try to be a bad guy I just turned out that way I didn't mean to hurt You It just ended up that way The marks were bad "Who the hell cares?" Got in a row with my dad Now I get the stares The green was a godsend The green was fine This green would trap me In a matter of time In my thoughts I search I try to retrieve All the lost memories I've been deceived I don't try to be a bad guy I just turned out that way I didn't mean to hurt You It just ended up that way Now we're nearing the end Of this little thing called life No more turns or bends I knew it'd be full of strife For this path I've chosen Is a rough one, believe me My minds been frozen Should I attempt my final plea? I have no one to pray to No god up above It's a choice I've followed through Only thing I had Only thing I lost Was love I don't try to be a bad guy I just turned out that way I didn't mean to hurt You It just ended up that way
