The Angel Sings
Reminiscing memories in the rain,
She smiles through all the pain.
She remembers the good, forgets all the bad
Nothing again can ever make her sad.
She sees the road she travels,
It’s simply sand & gravel.
It’s long and it’s twisted,
There’s more to life that’s gifted.
It’s a silent sound the angel sings.
As she stands to spread her wings,
She flies to new heights,
She soars through the nights.
It’s like a dream she had before,
It’s the opportunity an open door.
Like an eagle in the sky,
She’ll continue her journey and fly.
