The Act
Broken dreams
Full of lies
How it feels here inside
This shattered heart of mine
Shriveled seeds
Never blooming
Continuously feeds
The agonizing fuming
Battered and abused
Incomplete and wholly confused
Terror filled nightmares
Even sewn back up, it tears
Simply unknown, never to grow
Like a river never allowed to flow
Stumbles and falls hitting all the knocks
Like tripping over that bed of uneven rocks
Always alone
Though you would never of known
By the facade shown
How badly the heart, the soul has torn
Eclipsed by shadows
Pretending happiness is on the surface
Like walking through beautiful flower meadows
Showing to your face only what is in front of the curtains
