The Absence of Humanity
Our souls are given breath of life the day that we are born.
But the absence of humanity can leave our souls so torn.
To even try to tolerate such asinine behavior.
Is but a slap into the face of our graceful savior.
Nobody is born perfect, no, not one mortal soul.
But if you've no humanity, you never can be whole.
For God instilled in each of us a sense of love and kindness.
To live life any other way, is to live life in blindness.
So absence of humanity, we cannot tolerate.
For living without love in heart, only leaves us hate.
We ask ourselves so many things though out our years on earth.
But tolerating what's not just, diminishes our worth.
