The 6th Day
Listen to poem:
The Sixth Day
David J Walker
And on the 6th day
God Said
Nothing of the kind
Nothing never mind
He Said
About
Every beast of the earth
and to every fowl of the air
and every living thing that creepeth
upon the face of the earth
wherein there is life
And God said
Let there be Strife
That every living thing
Will know its alive
In its own perception
Let everything strive
For terrestrial perfection
And God saw
everything that He had made
that it was very good
And understood
The evening and the morning
were the sixth day.
