That Which Blinds

Falling, Falling, through the sky, exit psyche, standing by, gazing down from in my cell, seeing those who cannot tell. those outside cannot be free Isolation lets us see I built a wall around my soul, I chained my mind, made it my goal. then i unraveled by the thread then my wall, destroyed and dead, my soul fled, leaving me empty, I saw at last I could not see. Insanity's what impedes sight, making sanity a blight. But fear's what makes us keep our minds. Sanity is that which blinds.
