That Tree

Like a plant developed into a tree is what my emotions had grown to be Scared and confused I scampered away but your love in my heart is engraved Left with a plant deeply rooted in desparately in need of nourishing Five years passed and I wonder why that plant is still there left to die I water it and give it light and watch it grow with much delight And now I believe and now i see that this is the most precious and beautiful tree Blossoming with flowers for every season Bearing fruits beyond reason With a trunk so thick it cannot be cut With leaves so green and stems so strong And fruits that ripe all year long A tree that defines all of my love For you, the only one I think of
