That Dark Road

It's dark, but of course, It was night, then That marmalade finally turned herself in She was so stingy during the day Movies tell you to open your window And 'feel' the wind So that you could feel like you're in a music video Did that, the jitters just won't leave 'Heart, won't you sit still!' Turned worse This endless road This empty highway Mocked me as if I deserve this loneliness I smiled, but of course, as if that would suffice Slower than the green shells I'm talking about that animal you're thinking of No, don't take offense Not talking about you *smirk I meant the car It's dark, of course It was night, then The big damn truck just had to race It's time to step up Bye bye lonely road
