Thanksgiving Soon Will Be Here

Thanksgiving soon be here
Said the turkey to the pie
To get you to Thanksgiving
You don't have to die
You may get there half baked
But you'll still be eaten up
Especially with some wine in glass
And not a solo cup
If we're not both gobbled
On Thanksgiving Day
We could be eaten later
Or maybe thrown away
Could be given to less fortunate
To finally meet our fate
And Thanksgiving will continue
And leave all feeling great
